DESCRIPTION:Matt Dodt (i.e. Midnight Matt) is being charged with battery for defending 
 himself while participating in a tree sit in Berkeley People's Park. One of 
 the people who attempted to attack him ended up with a cut on his hand. 
 Midnight Matt has now been in jail for over a month. He faces a fine of up 
 to $10,000 and could be sentenced to 3-12 years in state prison. \n\nCome
