 6:00 to 9:00\nLive Oak Grange on 17th Avenue\n\nSanta Cruz Reskilling Expo 
 organizers are hosting a Seed and Biodiversity\nForum from 6-9 p.m. Feb. 
 26, during which the group will be launching a new\nseed-lending library. 
 Attendees can watch seed-harvesting demonstrations,\nlisten to Manfred 
 Warmuth's talk on perennial vegetable starts, watch video\nclips and 
 participate in a plant giveaway.\n\nSuggested donation is $10, though no 
 one will be turned away. Community TV\nwill be filming the panel. The Live 
 Oak Grange hosts the event at 1900 17th\nAve., Santa Cruz. Call 462-1032 or

 have an hour's panel discussion with Masaharu Noda, Axel Kratel, 
 Ben\nFarher, Arty Mangan and Zea Sonnabend. Shane Murphy will demonstrate 
 his\nseed harvesting techniques. Manfred Warmuth will teach on 
 perennial\nvegetable starts. We'll screen some relevant video clips, give 
 away plants\nand launch a new Seed Lending Library. Community TV will be 
 filming the\npanel. Admission by donation to cover costs: $0-$10. Please 
 join us!\n\n***Arty Mangan*, Bioneer's Food and Farming Director, works 
 with indigenous\nand biocultural seed projects. * Benjamin Fahrer*, a 
 permaculture designer,\neducator and activist, recently attended Seed 
 School in Arizona.  *Masaharu\nNoda* is Manager of Santa Cruz Shumei Farm 
 where *pure seed *is used as a\nkey principle of Natural Agriculture.  
 *Axel Kratel* is a consummate\norchardist who also happens to be a 
 physicist. * Renee Shepherd *offers\nseeds for specialty vegetables and 
 herbs through her company Renee's Garden.\n* Zea Sonnabend*, an inspector 
 and policy person for CCOF, provides growers\nwith the tools to farm with 
 organic integrity.\n\n A couple of seed collections will be available.
