DESCRIPTION:Join us for an extended weekend of skillsharing and organizing efforts to 
 keep Humboldt County free from corporate control. The community has tried 
 many avenues through the past 3 years to lobby an end to the widening of 
 the 101 through Richardson Grove State Park, home to some of the world's 
 most famous and majestic redwoods in the world. Their unique ecosystem is 
 threatened by the widening of the road, which threatens to turn this into 
 an interesting situation.\n\nLet's not let one ancient redwood trees being 
 sacrificed on the altar of development.\n\nFeaturing:\n-Nonviolence 
 Training\n-Backwoods Training\n-Visioning our groups role in the 
 social/enviro movement\n-Community Organizing 101\n-more TBA based on skill 
 and energy level!\n\nBring food, firewood, funds. Rideshares leave every 
 morning from the Arcata Coop at 10:00. Campsite TBA.\n
