DESCRIPTION:The series continues with selections from Shout Out! Women of Color Respond 
 to Violence. Readings that will be discussed include a social, political 
 and economic analysis of the violence against Native American, South Asian, 
 and Afghan women, and how these women organize for reforms.  Copies of 
 readings available at New Valencia Hall, see address below.\nThe meeting 
 will also feature strategizing for the coming year including the Sisters 
 Organized for Public Education (SOPE) grassroots campaign. Bring your 
 ideas.\n\nCome early for a hearty fundraising dinner, with vegetarian 
 option, available at 6:15pm for a $7.50 donation. Work exchanges available.
