 Saturday with members the Bay Area Friends of Tibet and the creation of a 
 Tibetan Sand Mandala, which is a picture of Universal Compassion. BAFoT is 
 pleased to invite you to our celebration of all things Tibetan in San 
 Francisco. Tibet Day is the Bay Area's annual tradition and celebration of 
 Tibetan art, politics, culture, and music!  Discover the third largest 
 Tibetan community in the United States. Come enjoy the unique people, the 
 special culture of Tibet, and celebrate dialogue with Chinese, American, 
 Burmese, Taiwanese, Himalayan, and other friends. \n\nWatch “Sand 
 Painting” in action as the monks of Drepung Loseling Phukhang Monastery 
 make a blueprint for world peace as part of their West Coast Tour.  Come 
 see the Tibetan Association of Northern California’s Tibetan Children’s 
 Chorus. \n\nThe 25th Annual Tibet Day will feature delicious Tibetan 
 cuisine, informative announcements, authors and activists, slide shows, and 
 performances of Tibetan music and dance. See and purchase from 100’s of 
 beautiful handicrafts, including jewelry, clothing, rugs, and ritual 
 objects. Participate in cultural and political events including expected 
 Tibetan, Burmese, and Mongolian performances. Meet local Tibetans and 
 friends. Watch important Tibetan movies. Materials will be available to 
 help lobby for Tibetan rights. Numerous aspects of Tibet’s beautiful and 
 intriguing culture will be presented. \n\n\n
