DESCRIPTION:Project Censored’s Empire, Power, and Propaganda Lecture Series continues
with a presentation by Norah Barrows-Friedman, award-winning Flashpoints
producer on KPFA\nShe has just returned from another productive trip to
Palestine, where she did more in-depth reporting for Electronic Intifada,
al-Jazeera, and other outlets. And while she was gone, the brand-new
Project Censored 2011 Anthology was published – including her chapter on
the top misreported or under-reported stories from occupied
Palestine.\n\nShe will joined by poet Tiffany Higgins, author of "And
Aeneas Stares into her Helmet." Mickey Huff, the director of Project
Censored, will be hosting. And the new Project Censored anthologies will be
on sale as well (think xmas/hannukah/festivus gifts)!\n\nSliding scale $5 -
$20 at the door. No one turned away for lack of funds.\nWheelchair
