DESCRIPTION:Windows of Sound is a concept for a night of unusual performances. Artist 
 and composer Tom Stanton has brought 14 artists together to perform outside 
 of their comfort zones in the Arts Benicia gallery for an 
 evening.\n\nArtists, musicians, poets, and writers were asked to create a 
 three-minute live performance in which they do something that they don't 
 normally do within the works they produce. This introduced two major 
 constraints: the three-minute window and the discomfort involved in what 
 would surely be an amateur presentation. Not surprisingly, many people 
 quickly rose to these challenges and stretched their professional comfort 
 zones. The emphasis shifted over time from an 'amateur' work to one that 
 had compression, intensity and passion in its content. The performers 
 represent many fields, ages and backgrounds. The one element they share in 
 common is this three-minute performance.\n\nPerformers include: Peter Bray, 
 John Chiara, Alex Cory, Joel Fallon, David Fitzgerald, John Goory, Dave 
 Holt, Tim Kahl, Mike Kendall, Pamela Lung, Joseph Martino, Thalo Morse,
