 few weeks after her release from prison.  Both inside and out, she fought 
 tirelessly for racial and global justice and against heteropatriarchy.  She 
 was a talented poet and a cherished friend to many here in the Bay Area and 
 around the world.\nAt this memorial, we will hear from some of the people 
 closest to Marilyn, see video and hear her own voice, eat and laugh in her 
 memory and rededicate ourselves to the struggles for justice which were the 
 center of her life.\n
