DESCRIPTION:Tonight’s meeting kicks off a campaign that will work with students, 
 teachers, staff, parents and community members to stop the attacks on 
 public education. The campaign will go door-to-door to find out what 
 working people need and want—as well as mobilizing for the national day 
 of action for public education on October 7. Everyone is invited to 
 participate in this exciting project.\n\nBefore the meeting you are invited 
 to share a delicious autumn buffet, with vegetarian option. The dinner is a 
 fundraiser for the organization and is served at 6:15pm for a $7.50
