DESCRIPTION:Join us for BEND TOWARD JUSTICE, a benefit to raise money for social 
 justice work in Sacramento and the Oak Park area. Proceeds will go toward 
 Sacramento League of Urban Gardeners (SLUG), Sacramento Copwatch and the 
 Sol Collective. The event will feature a community forum, speakers from 
 organizations working on social justice issues, incredible food, and live 
 music performances by hip-hop artist Idegad, indie-folk-punk duo Creepy 
 Little Legs and rap collective Mentes Diferentes. Event admission is at a 
 sliding scale from $5-$20, though none will be denied due to lack of funds.
