 having our\nthird annual "GoTopless" Day\nof protest in cities around the 
 US -\nand ... in San Francisco too!!\nWoohoo!\n:)\n\nSo I'm writing to you 
 all\nto personally invite you to join us in this fun afternoon\nin the name 
 of "Equal Rights"!\n\n\nSunday, Aug 22nd at 2pm - Justin Herman 
 Plaza\n(more details below)\n\n..................\nHere's more information 
 (copied from our SF "Event" page on facebook)\n\nWOMEN AND MEN, 
 TOGETHER\nfor EQUAL RIGHTS!\n\nIn the USA, we're all supposed to have 
 "equal rights" as decreed by the\nFourteenth Amendment of the US 
 Constitution.\nSo if this is true - that men and women are supposed to be 
 treated equally and\nhave the same rights - then why aren't women allowed 
 to go topless when men are?\nThe truth is, women are still being arrested, 
 fined and humiliated for daring\nto go topless in public in many parts of 
 the country!\n\nIf women are equal, then why this double standard?\n\nTo 
 make a stand for women's constitutional rights to go topless like 
 men,\nGoTopless.org is putting on its third annual National "GoTopless" Day 
 on Sunday\nAugust 22nd, 2010, in cities across the USA!\n\n"As long as men 
 are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the 
 same\nconstitutional rights. Or else, men should have to wear something to 
 hide their\nchests."\n- Rael, spiritual leader and founder of 
 GoTopless.org\n\nDuring this protest, women and men will make a stand for 
 equal rights! While\nwomen are encouraged to go topless, men are asked to 
 support the women by\ncovering their chests\nwith bikini tops or 
 bras.\nYes, both women and men have an important part to play!\n\nIn San 
 Francisco, on Sunday, August 22nd\nat 2pm\nGoTopless will be held in Justin 
 Herman Plaza\nwhere we'll be gathering to protest, celebrate and dance in 
 toplessness to great\nmusic provided by Aharon Bolsta and friends ( 
 http://rhythmwheels.com/ )!\nAnd feel free to bring sign-making supplies so 
 we can create beautiful signs to\ncommunicate our message!\n\nJustin Herman 
 Plaza is the grassy area at the foot of Market Street\n[and directly across 
 [from] the SF Ferry Building.]\nIf you must drive,\nthere are parking 
 garages at Embarcadero Center, and at various locations south\nof 
 Market.\nJustin Herman Plaza is easily accessible via the Embarcadero 
 BART/MUNI station.\nGet up to street level,\n... [walk toward] the Ferry 
 building,\nand look for the topless women\n:-)\n...................\n\nA 
 bit more about GoTopless...\n\nWhy in August? Because on August 26, 1920, 
 following a 72 year struggle, the US\nConstitution was [amended] to grant 
 women the right to vote; And because [in]\n1970, as an ongoing reminder of 
 women's equality,\nCongress declared August 26th "Women's Equality 
 Day".\n\nAlready, a handful of states, including NY and Maine, now honor 
 women's topfree\nrights. Last week, the city council of Santa Fe, NM. 
 turned down a city\nordinance to ban women's topfree rights\nbecause 
 council members feared they could later be\nsued for violatig gender 
 equality rights.\n\nGoTopless protests will be held this August 22nd 
 in\nL.A,\nChicago,\nSF,\nSeattle,\nDenver,\nMiami,\nHonolulu,\nNYC
