DESCRIPTION:As a key player on the Bush/Cheney torture team, Jay Bybee was rewarded by
Bush with a lifetime appointment to the Ninth Circuit Court. In a
different world - one that recognized accountability and justice - Bybee
(and his underlings like John Yoo) would face prosecution and trial!
\n\nTorture is a war crime, and a crime against humanity. Those who have
carried out great crimes under cover of high office must be brought to
justice.\n\nLet Bybee know: people of conscience insist on speaking up and
speaking out; his crimes will be known everywhere he goes.\n\nLet other
judges who tolerate a torturer as a colleague see orange jumpsuits
everywhere they go.\n\nLet the courthouse press know that there is a
growing movement of people living in this country who will not allow
torture judges, torture professors, torture lawyers, torture ex-presidents
and vice-presidents, et al to waltz back into comfortable civilian lives
while their victims suffer.\n\nThe hands of Jay Bybee, John Yoo, and the
entire "Torture Team" cohort are covered in blood.\n\nWe will set up our
BUSH/BYBEE MUSEUM OF TORTURE outside the courthouse. Be sure to bring your
picture id if you are going inside.\n\nJay Bybee will be on the bench 9:00
 a.m. \nCourtroom 1, 3rd Floor\n\n\n
