 Effort\n\nThe Oil Geyser is a terrible moment in environmental history.\nIf 
 you have felt the sickness of our poisoned oceans deep in your gut, DO 
 SOMETHING.\nMatter of Trust has organized an international renewable fibers 
 solution and has set up 20 warehouses along the entire gulf within the 
 first few weeks of the disaster.\nHair is the best oil-soaking material. It 
 is put into nylons and covered in mesh to create a floating oil 
 sponge.\nThey have been receiving international donations of hair and 
 nylons for super these absorbent booms.\nBP has commandeered the clean-up 
 efforts and hasn't been allowing local governments to aid in the 
 process.\nThey have also been improperly using booms in a way that is super 
 ineffective for actual oil collection. (see video link below)\nLocal 
 municipalities are concerned that BP's efforts are not adequate and they 
 feel the time for action is now.\nThey have been teaming up with Matter of 
 Trust, and there is a boaters union called the "Cajun Marines" who are 
 waiting on gas money and boom disposal funding to start the huge clean-up 
 process.\n\nThis Saturday, June 12th The Bay Are Bikedance team, The 
 Derailleurs, have teamed up with Matter of Trust for a Hair Raising 
 adventure.\nMatter of Trust is providing multiple pallets of hair for a 
 Boom Stuffing Party.\nWe invite you to come to 250 Loomis and help create 
 oil absorbent tools for local gulf governments.\nThere will be a 
 haircutting station and a boom stuffing station.\nBarbecue, double 
 dutching, and fun will ensue as we gather tools to help remedy this 
 environmental tragedy.\n\nYou do not have to cut your hair to attend.\nThis 
 is meant to be a meeting place for fellow concerned citizens to have face 
 time and motivate future actions in the execution of the clean-up.\nWe need 
 to pressure our government to mobilize the "green soldiers" who have been 
 converged on the shores, yearning to DO SOMETHING, but not allowed by 
 BP.\n\nIn our world, we have a stewardship to the land, and we have the 
 right to nurse its wounds.\nCome eat some food and meet other folks for a 
 community soapbox on actions needed.\nStuff hair into nylons, be a
