DESCRIPTION:Please come to a Mixer with appetizers, food and drink specials. Featuring 
 Resource Center for Nonviolence staff members Sandino Gomez and Marciano 
 Cruz. The community is welcome to attend. Silent auction upstairs with art 
 from local artists and students. Proceeds from auction and mixer will be 
 donated to the Resource Center for Nonviolence.\n\nThe recent increase of 
 violence in Santa Cruz County has encouraged Motiv to be proactive and team 
 up with the Resource Center for Nonviolence in order to keep this city 
 safe. We want you to be involved in our efforts to raise money for the 
 RCNV. The RCNV is a peace and justice organization aimed at promoting 
 nonviolent social change locally in Santa Cruz and also worldwide from 
 Mexico to the Middle East. \n\nOn Wednesday June 2, 2010, Motiv is hosting 
 a fundraiser mixer and silent auction featuring artwork and prizes from 
 local Santa Cruz artists and businesses. Special RCNV guest, Sandino Gomez, 
 will present a slideshow detailing RCNV’s mission and current projects. 
 Join Motiv in promoting peace for the Santa Cruz streets. Come mingle with 
 representatives from the RCNV and members of the community. Be a part of 
 the change, raise awareness, raise money and have a good time, it’s for
