DESCRIPTION:Join Bob Flasher of the National Parks Conservancy at Muir Beach for a day
of shared work to improve the habitat of a more natural creek and wetland
system. Come improve the habitat for three species on the federal
Endangered Species List: steelhead trout, coho salmon, and the California
red-legged frog. Rain or Shine. Dress in warm layers, wear sturdy shoes and
bring lots of friends! We provide snacks, tools and gloves. Meet at Muir
Beach Parking Lot, Pacific Way, Mill Valley, CA 94965. RSVP required: RSVP
within the trip info at http://wildequity.org/events. Part of the GGNP
Endangered Species Big Year, a race against time to see and save the
Park’s endangered species. See http://wildequity.org for more
information.\n\nThe Golden Gate National Parks contains more endangered
species than any other National Park in continental North America. This is
certainly cause for celebration, but also for concern. Take part in the
2010 GGNP Endangered Species Big Year and get to know these species while
helping them recover. It is free. Signup for the Big Year at
http://wildequity.org and go to the calendar to see the upcoming Big Year
 trips and activities.\n
