 current food politics and sustainable issues we can all get involved in, 
 with a chance to mingle with conscious foodies.\n\nJill Richardson will be 
 here, who's a great writer on food issues, along with writer-farmer Jason 
 Mark from Alemany Farms. Jill will talk about what current important food 
 issues we can all participate it in right now, like food safety and school 
 lunch reform. Jason will provide some tips on how we can get involved in 
 food production in our own backyards.\n\nJill Richardson's blog La Vida 
 Locavore, is listed as one of the top ten blogs on sustainable food by the 
 New York Times. She contributes regularly to AlterNet, is a member of the 
 Organic Consumers Association policy advisory board, and the author of 
 “Recipe for America: Why Our Food System Is Broken and What We Can Do to 
 to Fix it.“\n\nJason Mark is a writer-farmer active in the sustainable 
 food movement. He is a co-author of Building the Green Economy: Success 
 Stories from the Grassroots and the editor of the Earth Island Journal. His 
 writings have appeared in The Nation, The Progressive, Utne Reader, San 
 Francisco Chronicle, Gastronomica, Alternet.org, and Grist.org. He 
 co-manages San Francisco’s Alemany Farm, a four-acre organic fruit and
