Magazine\n\n\nDavid Rovics has been called the musical voice of the
progressive movement in the U.S. He and his songs are featured on national
radio programs and he tours regularly around the world. Rovics’ own
political statements touch on a variety of topics including labor history,
the “War on Terror” and gender relations. Many of his songs are also
inspired by the hundreds of cities he’s visited, from no-name small-towns
in the USA, to the occupied Palestinian territories. He has 10 releases.
His 2008 release, The Commons, includes: “Halliburton Boardroom
Massacre,” “Who Would Jesus Bomb?” and “Falluja.” Most
importantly, he's really good. He will make you laugh, he will make you
cry, he will make the revolution irresistible. Sponsored by the Resource
Center for Nonviolence. For more info: 831-423-1626x101 or www.rcnv.org\n
