DESCRIPTION:The Oakland-based music and empowerment program, Bay Area Girls Rock Camp, 
 is calling women of all ages to come rock out for girls during Ladies Rock 
 Camp, April 9-11, 2010. Attending ladies experience a condensed Girls Rock 
 Camp: one raucous weekend of learning the instrument of their choice, 
 playing in a band, writing a song, attending workshops and performing a 
 rockin’ showcase finale of their original music. NO PREVIOUS MUSICAL 
 EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! \nLadies Rock Camp doubles as the biggest fundraiser 
 of the year for Bay Area Girls Rock Camp financial aid fund. The $400 
 tuition for one woman to attend Ladies Rock Camp is equivalent to the 
 tuition for one girl to attend Summer Camp. Over half of the girls who 
 attend Summer Camp receive financial aid. \n\n
