DESCRIPTION:Green Sundays are a series of free programs & discussions sponsored by the
Outreach Working Group of the Green Party of Alameda County. They are
usually held on the 2nd Sunday of each month.\n\n\n*Green Sunday*\n\nGreen
Candidate for Insurance Commissioner talks about Health Care\n\nSunday,
February 14th\n5:00 to 6:30 pm\n\nFirst, we’ll watch Bill Moyers Journal
story about health care and money… here’s the intro, spoken by Bill on
18 Dec, 2009:\n\n“Something’s not right here. One year after the great
collapse of our financial system, Wall Street is back on top while our
politicians dither. As for health care reform, you’re about to be forced
to buy insurance from companies whose stock is soaring, and that’s just
dandy with the White House.”\n\nAfter the short film, Bill Balderston,
Green candidate for California Insurance Commissioner, will lead a
discussion about health care and other issues that affect all
Californians.\n\nBill is a longtime activist with Vote Health. He is also a
former Oakland Education Association Executive Board Member and a former
State Council Member with the California Teachers Association
 (CTA).\n\nLOCATION: Niebyl-Proctor Library\n6501 Telegraph Ave. at 65th in
 North Oakland.\n https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2010/02/12/18637636.php
