DESCRIPTION:Free Skool Picnic\nSaturday January 30th\nSan Lorenzo Park, noon until 
 4pm\n(by the playground area)\n\nA chance to hang out in the park with 
 other free skool teachers, students and interested folks.  Bring food to 
 share, ideas for classes next quarter or something to teach others.  This 
 is a chance for us to spend time outside together and enjoy a break in the 
 rain (although the rain is nice too...but not for a picnic).\n\nI look 
 forward to seeing you-all there.\n\nAnd join us the next day for the 
 Running a Free Skool Workshop at SubRosa 703 Pacific Ave.  (1-4pm). This is 
 a discussion on things we've learned about starting and running a free 
 skool, getting and keeping people involved, engaging students, teachers, 
 and organizers, dealing with spaces, and other free skool issues.  Get info 
 on how to get involved.  We invite folks from other free skool to share 
 their experiences.\n\nAnd of course we are looking for teachers for the 
 Spring quarter so go to the free skool website 
 (http://santacruz.freeskool.org) and fill out the online class proposal 
 form by February 10th.\n\n\n
