 7pm\n\nFriday, January 15 marks the 81st birthday of the slain civil rights 
 leader.  During his lifetime, he was imprisoned, hounded by the FBI and 
 vilified by some as a traitor to the United States.\nDr. King was an 
 anti-racist leader in a time when the civil rights struggles were beginning 
 to intermingle with the struggle against the war in Vietnam.  He first came 
 to national prominence through his leadership in the Montgomery Bus Boycott 
 that challenged the Jim Crow laws of the South. In the latter days of his 
 life, Dr. King became an outspoken critic of the war and colonization of 
 Vietnam by the U.S. government, which he then indicted as the "the greatest 
 purveyor of violence in the world today."\nDr. King linked the struggles 
 against racism with economic injustice and the anti-war movement. Therein 
 lies Dr. King’s true legacy; his more mature understanding that an 
 "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." \nJoin us for a

 desafiaron las leyes Jim Crow del Sur.  En los últimos días de su vida, 
 Dr. King se convirtió en un crítico feroz de la guerra y colonización de 
 Vietnam por el gobierno Estadounidense, quien el declaro como “el más 
 grande proveedor de violencia en el mundo actual”.\nDr. King unió las
