 readers/performers:\n\nMelanie Gideon is the author of The Slippery Year, 
 which was chosen as a best book of the year by the SF Chronicle and NPR and 
 was an Amazon Book Club selection. She also wrote two young-adult novels, 
 The Map That Breathed and Pucker.\n\nRhiannon Argo is the author of The 
 Creamsickle and one of the members of Sister Spit: The Next Generation. 
 She's also the author of two chapbooks, Four and Pill. Her work has 
 appeared in Baby Remember My Name: New Queer\nGirl Writing, It's So You: 35 
 Women on Fashion, Beauty and Personal Style, The Lowdown Highway Anthology, 
 ArtXX, $pread Magazine and Cutter Photozine.\n\nRaina Bird's work has 
 appeared in Cherry Bleeds and other places, and she's read at Sizzle!, 
 Perverts Put Out, and Acker's Dangerous Daughters.\n\nMaw Shein Win was 
 co-founder of the acclaimed local literary magazine Comet. Her poetry has 
 appeared in Shampoo, SoMa Literary Review, 2River, No Tell Motel, Big 
 Bridge, and Glass: A Journal of Poetry. She was an artist in residence at 
 Headlands Center For The Arts.\n\nTissa Hami performed for 10,000 people at 
 First Night Boston, and her comedy has been featured in Boston Globe Sunday 
 Magazine, Washington Post, and Chicago Tribune,\nas well as on BBC radio 
 and Australian and European television. Tissa has appeared on ABC's The 
 View, the Hallmark Channel, and NPR. She's one of five Islamic comedians 
 featured in the documentary, Stand Up: Muslim American Comics Come of 
 Age.\n\nAbout Writers With Drinks:\nWriters With Drinks has won "Best 
 Literary Night" from the SF Bay Guardian readers' poll five years in a row 
 and was named "Best Literary Drinking" by the SF Weekly. The spoken word 
 "variety show" mixes genres to raise money for local worthy causes. The 
 award-winning show includes poetry, stand-up comedy, science fiction, 
 fantasy, romance, mystery, literary fiction, erotica, memoir, zines and 
 blogs in a freewheeling format.\n\nHostess Charlie Jane Anders blogs about 
 science fiction and futurism at io9.com. She's the author of the Lambda 
 Award-winning Choir Boy (2005 Soft Skull Press) and the co-editor, with 
 Annalee Newitz, of She's Such A Geek (Seal Press 2007). She also published
