from the Deep North / presented by Holly Fulton and Bill Peebles\nMt.
Diablo Peace & Justice Center, 55 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek \nIn Traces of
the Trade, Producer/Director Katrina Browne tells the story of her
forefathers, the DeWolf family, the largest slave-trading family in U.S.
history. Given the myth that the South is solely responsible for slavery,

remarkable journey which brings them face-to-face with the history and
legacy of New England's hidden enterprise.

DeWolf family. She and her husband, Bill Peebles, give talks and
facilitate discussions as outreach for Traces of the Trade. Holly is on the
board of Coming to the Table (http://www.comingtothetable.org), an
initiative that involves direct descendants of slavery, black and white,
in exploring their unique role in addressing the legacy of slavery on a
personal and societal level. Holly and Bill will lead a discussion after
the film. \n \nThis event is free (donations accepted).\n\n\n
