 representing his country in the San Francisco bay area, Mártin Sánchez 
 was a media and community activist in Venezuela.  He co-founded the 
 important website www.aporrea.org (La Asemblea Popular Revolucionaria), an 
 online outlet for activists and citizens in Venezuela and beyond to share 
 information and organize to deepen the revolutionary process.  He has 
 written and spoken widely on questions of social change, the media, and 
 socialism in Venezuela and throughout the world.\n
