DESCRIPTION:For Details, Contact: Felix Kury: fkury@sfsu.edu\n\n\n\nJustice for the
 Jesuits!\n\nCandlelight Vigil To Denounce the Nov. 16, 1989 Assassination
 of \n\nIgnacio Martín-Baró and Seven Others by U.S. Trained Troops in El
 \n\nSalvador.\n\n\n\nThe people of the Mission district demand justice for
 the six \n\nJesuits and the two women who were murdered on November 16,
 1989. \n\nTwenty years have passed and no one, including those who
 \n\ndesigned, ordered and executed that horrendous crime, has been \n\nheld
 accountable. The former ARENA governments have been \n\naccomplices in
 this act of impunity.\n\n\n\nFellow Jesuit colleague, Fr. Jon Sobrino,
 reflected on the \n\nmurder: "It is important to know who killed them, but
 more \n\nimportant to know why it was possible to murder them with such
 \n\nimpunity before, during and after the event. It is important to
 \n\ninvestigate the murders of the past, but much more important once
 \n\nand for all to stop murders happening in the future. It is
 \n\nimportant to solve notorious murders, but more important to clear
 \n\nup the mass murder of peasants who die anonymously. It is \n\nimportant
 that justice be done to my brother Jesuits in death, \n\nbut much more
 important to keep them among us by putting to full \n\nuse their
 achievements in life."\n\n\n\nThe Salvadorean Community and volunteers of
 Clínica Martín-Baró \n\n(in memory of one of the Jesuits killed) in San
 Francisco invite \n\nall to attend a vigil:\n\nDate: Sunday,
 November 15, 2009\n\nTime:                4:00 PM to 6:00 PM\n\nPlace:
           The Intersection of Mission Street and 24th \n\nStreet, San
 Francisco\n\n\n\nThe Community Demands --\n\n- Justice and accountability
 for the victims of violence in El \n\nSalvador, including but not limited
 to an end to impunity and \n\nthat all of those responsible for violence,
 torture, \n\ndisappearances, and terror be held accountable for their
 actions.\n\n- An end to violence against Latina/os, Native Americans,
 people \n\nof color, and the poor in the Mission: meaning an end to
 \n\nimmigration raids, an end to the deportations of our families and
 \n\nyouth, and an end to the gang injunctions and the criminalization
 \n\nof our youth.\n\n- An end to U.S. support for war, torture, and terror
 in Latin \n\nAmerica and around the world.\n\n- An end to the coup in
 Honduras that recognizes the right of the \n\nHonduran people to revise
 their constitution and maintain the \n\nprogressive changes supported by
 President Zelaya.\n\n\n\nParticipating Organizations Include --\n\nMembers
 of the Clínica Martín-Baro collective, Mujeres Unidas y \n\nActivistas;
 CISPES: Committee in Solidarity with the People of El \n\nSalvador;
 Instituto Familiar de la Raza; CARECEN: Central \n\nAmerican Resource

 Martín-Baró is a community-based, weekly, medical clinic \n\nthat has
