 focuses on developing your core community, and it allows you, your staff 
 and volunteers to do what they do best: educate people about your mission 
 and inspire them to help.\nFundraising by this method leads to sustainable, 
 predictable results. And importantly, since 75-80% of donations come from 
 individuals, it’s where the money is.\nAt this event, you will 
 learn:\nWhat Community-Based Fund Raising Is\nHow It Can Help your 
 Organization\nHow Your Organization Can Raise Money through this 
 Method\nCome and learn from a skilled fundraiser and changemaker, and share 
 the experience with others from Marin's progressive community.\nThis 
 promises to be an enlightening and worthwhile afternoon.  \n.\nInstructor: 
 George Taylor co-founded a local non-profit and helped raise one million 
 dollars for it over eight years (with a lot of board an staff help.)  Last 
 year he consulted with over twenty small groups on fund raising and 
 planning.  He teaches small non-profits and progressive organizations how 
 to organize staff and volunteer efforts to create community-based fund
