 become clear that the one option that would solve the healthcare crisis – 
 universal healthcare – has been dropped by the Obama administration and 
 Congress.\n\nWhat is really under consideration in Congress?\n\nJoin us for 
 a working-class perspective on the ongoing health care debate. We will also 
 view the documentary “Sicko”, which compares the private health care 
 system here in the United States with the universal free health care 
 systems in Canada, France, Britain and Cuba.\n\nThe next PSL forum on

 crisis\n      As long as we live in a society organized around the profit 
 motive, where the logic of the capitalist system breeds environmental 
 destruction and the government won’t pass or enforce laws to reign in big

 corporations, it is rational to pollute in order to cut costs and make more 
 profits.\n      The only true and lasting solution to saving the 
 environment is organizing a society where the profit motive has been 
 removed and production and distribution is based on centralized, 
 ecologically sustainable planning. That system is socialism.\n    *

 international working class. It was the first time ever that the organized
