DESCRIPTION:Saturday, September 26, 11 AM to 1:30 PM\nHonduras Military Coup\nLisa
 Sullivan, Latin America Coordinator \nSchool of the Americas Watch, \nwill
 be the featured speaker at a brunch at the Redwoods Presbyterian Church,
 110 Magnolia Avenue, Larkspur. The event will be held on.\nFor over thirty
 years Ms. Sullivan has lived in Venezuela. For twenty-one years she worked
 as a Maryknoll lay missioner in that area. In her current position with SOA
 Watch, Lisa leads delegations to Latin American countries to meet with
 political officials and social movement leaders. In April she met with
 Manuel Zelaya, the democratically elected president of Honduras, and urged
 him to stop sending students to the School of the Americas, Fort Benning,
 Georgia. Among the SOA's graduates are notorious dictators Manuel Noriega
 and Omar Torrijos of Panama; Leopoldo Galtieri and Roberto Viola of
 Argentina; Juan Velasco Alvarado of Peru; Guillermo Rodriguez of Ecuador;
 and Hugo Banzer Suarez of Bolivia.\nShortly after the military coup in
 Honduras on June 28, led by graduates of the SOA, Lisa returned to Honduras
 to stand in solidarity with social movements struggling for the return of
 President Zelaya and an end to repression.\nThis program is sponsored by
 the Task Force on the Americas. A $10-25 donation is requested. For
 information, please call 415/924-3227 or visit
