DESCRIPTION:NATIVE PLANT DYE WORKSHOP & COHO BENEFIT on the eve of the Fall Equinox w/ 
 Rebecca Burgess (ecological artist) & Paola Bouley (SPAWN ecologist) 
 \n\nBeginning with a hike in the beautiful Lagunitas Watershed, one of the 
 last viable coho salmon habitats in CA, we will visit the ecosystems where 
 these sacred salmon and plants co-exist. \n\nWe will both observe the plant 
 species within the ecosystem, as well as explore the wide variety of color 
 they offer us in the dye vat and on various natural fabrics. \n\nCost The 
 cost is $30 for SPAWN members and $65 for new members. (The $65 rate 
 includes an annual membership w/ SPAWN). \n\nContact Paola@Tirn.Net

 \n\n\nWHEN: Saturday, September 19th (day before the Fall Equinox), 10-3pm 
 \n\nWHERE: West Marin on Lagunitas Creek \n\nWhat to Bring: Messy clothes. 
 If you want to dye some of your own clothes, yarns, or fiber- bring them 
 along. A sample organic wool skein, a silk scarf, and many fabric swatches 
 are included in the workshop. \n\n
