 in an attempt to disrupt their unity, but the workers are not swayed.  In 
 response, the military is brought in to suppress the strike, leading to a 
 mass slaughter (and visually compared to the slaughter of cattle).  
 Communist politics aside, "Strike" offers a compelling look at the 
 exploitation of workers, all framed in the classic Eisenstein montage
