 Berkeley\n\nPacifica is in crisis with a declining listenership, financial 
 losses and a growing top down centralized operation. In Los Angeles, the 
 news department has been shutdown and the continued failure to bring new 
 community programming on to the stations  is one reason that listeners are 
 being driven away. The arrest and beating of KPFA community broadcaster 
 Nadra Foster at KPFA is a direct result of a management and their policies 
 at the station. These actions do not represent the interests of the staff, 
 the listeners or the community. This forum will discuss what is happening 
 at KPFA/KPFK and Pacifica and a vision to rebuild the stations and the 
 network to make it a vibrant and vital activist broadcast vehicle for the 
 issues facing people in the US and
