 History Center\n\nSaturday, August 22, from 1:00PM to 4:00 PM\n\nSpend the 
 day at Rancho del Oso Nature and History Center to discover more about its 
 celebrated extinct mascot, the mammal that Rancho del Oso was named for: 
 the Grizzly Bear.\n\nRanger Frank Balthis will give a talk and slide show 
 on wild grizzlies in Alaska and Wyoming.\n\nDocent Doreen Devorah will 
 entertain us with a dramatization of William Waddell's last encounter with 
 a grizzly bear. There will be children's activities all day from teddy bear 
 picnics to mask making and songs. This event is free. The park is located 
 16 miles north of Santa Cruz along Highway One, at Waddell Creek, just 2 
 miles south of Año Nuevo State Park (831) 427-2288.\n\nCo-sponsored by
