 dealing with the current world economic crisis?  Join us this Friday as PSL 
 members Gloria La Riva and Frank Meade, recently returned from a two-week 
 visit to the island nation, share their findings on this question and 
 others.  We will also view video and photos from their trip.\n\nFrank and 
 Gloria joined with 140 others on the Venceremos Brigade in an act of civil 
 disobedience against travel restrictions to Cuba, while demanding an end to 
 the blockade.\n\nFrank Meade, who visited Cuba for the first time this 
 summer, learned firsthand about Cuba’s hurricane relief efforts, 
 environmental initiatives and struggles for women’s and LGBT equality, 
 among other historical and cultural aspects.\n\nGloria La Riva, leader of 
 the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five, will present what steps Cuba 
 is taking to safeguard their many achievements over the last 50 years as
