 crossroads-we can either continue our addiction with offshore drilling or 
 invest in a future built on clean, safe energy, healthy communities and a 
 vibrant environment. California has a long history of trailblazing the way 
 for environmental and social issues and has opportunity to be a national 
 and international leader in creating a future without offshore 
 drilling.\n\nCost of Oil: Voices from the Arctic, a movie produced 
 independently by Stone Soup Productions, outlines the effects of offshore 
 oil production on Alaska Native communities. We'll also be screening Big 
 Oil's Last Day. Shot in the style of The Office meets Thank You for 
 Smoking, Big Oil’s Last Day highlights the irony of our ongoing addiction 
 to oil. Join us for a screening of the films and a conversation with 
 leaders in the movement to stop offshore drilling and promote clean, safe 
 energy at home and abroad.\n\nThis event is cosponsored by Bay Localize, 
 Crude Accountability, Environmental Action Committee of West Marin, 
 Greenpeace , Santa Monica Baykeeper, Save Our Shores, and Sierra Club's 
 Alaska Task Force.\n\n
