 anti-gay-marriage Prop 8 passed in California and was upheld by the State 
 Supreme Court, but supporters of gay marriage did not sit at home and 
 mourn, they organized and protested with anger combined with optimism that 
 anti-gay bigotry can and will be defeated.\n\nThanks to the protests and 
 the outrage following the passage of Prop 8, public opinion has shifted 
 more in favor of marriage equality.  How can we use this momentum and build 
 a LGBT-rights movement that can overturn Prop 8 and win lasting change and 
 real equality?\n\nJoin us for a discussion about the next steps in this
