 Eric's support committee:)\nEric McDavid was arrested in January 2006 as 
 part of the government's\nongoing Green Scare campaign against 
 environmental and animal rights\nactivists. His arrest was the direct 
 result of an undercover informant and\ngovernment entrapment. Eric was 
 charged with "conspiracy" - and was\nsentenced to an outrageous 19 years 
 and 7 months in prison for what\nbasically amounts to "thought crime." Eric 
 has suffered enormous\ninjustices at the hands of the state – and we want 
 to do everything we can\nto make sure that people don’t forget about 
 Eric, that they understand how\nhis case was created, and to ensure that 
 people learn what they can from\nour experiences these past 3 years.\n\nTo 
 that end, we are headed to your community to educate folks about 
 Eric’s\ncase, which we will use as a lens through which to study the 
 basic\nconcepts of entrapment, the use of informants, and government 
 repression\nin general. Unfortunately, the use of these tools by the state 
 is becoming\nmore and more prevalent, and it’s imperative that people 
 understand how\nthey work.\n\nIn addition to the presentation itself, we 
 will be accompanied by friends\nwho will bring us some beautiful musical 
 catharsis. Nora & Gnoll and Spoke\nPants of the Flowering Skillet, from the 
 Anarchozarkian Music Collective\nwill be touring with us, straight from the
