DESCRIPTION:Free & Open to the Public!\n\nPart of "Treating the Invisible Wounds of
War: Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans, Families and Care Providers" series, a
collaboration among the Coming Home Project, UCSF Health Effects of War
Grand Rounds, and UCTV.\n\nThis will be a clinical discussion of the mental
health needs of women who have served in the military, with particular
emphasis on the emergent needs of “OIF/OEF” women (Operation Iraqi
Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom).\n\nTwo main questions will be
addressed:\n- What do we need to know about working with military women
(e.g., how are they different, what are their particular treatment
needs)?\n- How can we best serve them (e..g, what services are needed, what
are the effective treatments, how best to work with them
clinically)?\n\nSpeaker Darrah Westrup, Ph.D.\n\nEmail us your questions -
contact@cominghomeproject.net - before the conference [during may also be
possible].\n\nViewing options:\n* In Person on Wednesday, June 3rd,
12pm-2pm at UCSF/Parnassus [NO REGISTRATION NECESSARY]\n* Watch live
online, 12pm - 2pm PST, June 3rd, click here, or on Dish Network channel
