DESCRIPTION:The Santa Cruz County Task Force for LGBTIQ Youth is proud to announce that 
 the 12th Annual Queer Youth Leadership Awards will take place on May 16th, 
 2009 at Scotts Valley High School (click for map).\nThere will be a 
 community resource fair at 5:00 PM, dinner - catered by Village Caterers - 
 beginning at 5:30 PM and the Awards Ceremony beginning at 7:00 PM. A 
 community dance with DJ Eko follows the show.\nThe Queer Youth Leadership 
 Awards is dedicated to hosting the QYLA in schools across Santa Cruz 
 County, and we are excited to announce that the QYLA has now taken place in 
 Santa Cruz, Capitola, Watsonville and will soon take place in Scotts 
 Valley.\nOver the past 11 years, there have been over 20 nominees (14 
 pictured below) from the Valley. This year, the QYLA is showing our thanks 
 to the Scotts Valley community for their commitment to LGBTIQ issues by 
 hosting the awards at Scotts Valley High School.\n
