 CA\nSunday, May 10, 2009, Exhibit:10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m\nCeremony: 3:00
p.m.\n\nA deeply moving memorial exhibit commemorating all the California
soldiers killed thus far in Iraq. A pair of combat boots for each military
man or woman from California who was killed in Iraq will be on display
along with civilian shoes, each representing Iraqi citizens killed in the
conflict.\n\nMother's Day was originally a protest against war by mothers
who said they did not want to send their husbands and sons into battle to
kill other women's husbands and sons. This exhibit is a reminder of the
human cost of war. It's an opportunity to bless, honor and mourn military

Association Santa Cruz and the Resource Center for
Nonviolence.\n\nVolunteers are needed to help with set-up and taking down
the exhibit. Coantact Barbara at 831-423-1626 X105 or
