DESCRIPTION:The ancient sport of dragon boating in all its cultural splendor is used as 
 a fund raiser to help two local cancer charities.  This event benefits the 
 American Cancer Society California Chinese Unit and the Woman's Cancer 
 Resource Center of Oakland.  Help us raise money to raise awareness about 
 the devastating effects of cancer on the poor and those with linguistic 
 barriers.  \n\nThis is not a race for the cure, this event benefits people 
 in your community who can't wait for the race to be won.  These are the 
 poor, the elderly and the indigent who have cancer and need help today.
