  Since 1995, she has been researching, writing and presenting papers on 
 labor-management-state relations, labor conditions, gender division of 
 labor, labor media, labor unions, and labor resistance in Vietnam, 
 including comparative perspectives on labor conditions with those of the 
 United States and Malaysia. She has conducted fieldwork throughout Vietnam 
 on these labor-related topics, interviewed workers and relevant 
 stakeholders, and presented these materials in the U.S. and at global 
 conferences of peers and non-academic audiences.\n\n\n\n
