 had to run away from home and leave their families in Sudan to avoid 
 genital mutilation. Riham Shebl is a feminist, Muslim scholar who resides 
 in Egypt where the practice is spreading. Her research includes study of 
 how the Koran supports feminism and her work is dedicated to understanding 
 and stopping female genital mutilation. This program will include a 
 screening of her two documentaries, a provocative presentation and an
