DESCRIPTION:Hilary Saunders of Audubon Canyon Ranch's Habitat Protection and
Restoration Project has offered to take us on an exclusive hike to see the
flora, at a preserve where usually interest focuses on the egrets and other
nesting birds that inhabit the canyon.\n\nThe California Native Plant
Society is a non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals united
by an interest in the plants of California. Its principal aims are to
preserve the native flora and to add to the knowledge of members and the
public at large.\n\nAll hikes are free and open to the public; please
invite your friends.\n\nThe outings will often go on until 2 p.m., so bring
your lunch, and be prepared for unreliable weather.\n\nIn all cases,
 morning rain cancels. \n
