 spiritually significant Hebrew letter Shin, Curran merges live performance 
 on the Jewish shofar (a ritual horn) with a rich cacophony of sampled 
 natural sounds, piano, synthesizers, computers, violin, percussion and 
 more. Curran's nearly 100 experimental compositions have been performed 
 around the world, garnering numerous awards and critical
