 community potluck. For those of you who don't know, Co-founder Jered Lawson 
 helped launch Buy Fresh Buy Local way back when in 2002 and now serves on 
 the campaign's Steering Committee. Today he carries on his love for local 
 food and farming by digging in at his farm, shaped like a pie and is 
 co-owned by Jered, his wife Nancy and Karen Heisler. Karen runs Mission Pie 
 in the city and is out on the farm whenever she can be. This farm-to-city 
 connection is educating children about farming and is a premier model in
