\nCelebrate Black History Month and learn about the case of the San

prosecution for their political activities organizing for racial and
economic justice. This modern-day witchhunt is based on confessions
obtained over 35 years ago by police torture. \n\nFeaturing a showing of
the documentary “Legacy of Torture: The War against the Black Liberation
Movement,” followed by a panel discussion with Richard Brown, SF8
defendant and Western Addition community organizer, and Nellie Wong,
revolutionary poet and political prisoner activist. \n\nThe event takes
place on Saturday, February 21, 7:30pm, with a Southern BBQ Supper served
at 6:00pm. The door donation request is $3 and the buffet donation $9; and
sliding scale and work exchanges are available. \n\nAt New Valencia Hall,
625 Larkin Street, Suite 202, in San Francisco (five blocks from Civic
Center BART and on or near #19, 31, 38, 47 & 49 Muni bus lines). The venue
