DESCRIPTION:Just in time for the hotly anticipated Tour de California stop in Santa 
 Cruz, People Power presents the Tour de Everyday a community bike ride 
 focusing on everyday transportation.\n \nWhile the tour of California rolls 
 through once a year, there are hundreds of everyday heroes who ride their 
 bikes 365 days a year to work, school, or anywhere their hearts desire! 
 \n\nBy the simple act of getting on a bicycle and riding to places most 
 people would only drive to, bicycle commuters are doing their part to 
 reduce noise and air pollution, reliance on foreign oil, increase public 
 safety, and enhance their own health.  They are, like their racing 
 counterparts, demonstrating the power of the human body to move itself. 
 \n\nJoin People Power on Sunday, February 15th at noon, as we demonstrate 
 the everyday utility of the bicycle for transportation.  Beginning at the 
 Hub for Sustainable Transportation at 703 Pacific Ave., the Tour de 
 Everyday will take participants through the various bike routes riders can 
 take to school, to work, to shopping or natural resources. Perhaps we will 
 even be joined by Vance Legstrong. Whether an aspiring bike commuter 
 looking for a "bike routes of Santa Cruz 101" or a longtime rider looking 
 to meet fellow bike commuters,  the Tour de Everyday will demonstrate how 
 bicycles are an efficient, inexpensive, and enjoyable way to get anywhere 
 in town throughout the year. The most important tour is the one you do
