 to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of the Bhopal Gas Disaster.  We will be 
 collecting postcards and talking to people about the anniversary at the 
 Fremont Farmer's Market from 11:00-1:00.  Bring any signs or banners you 
 have, and a pen to collect postcard signatures.\n\nWhere: Bonde Way and 
 Fremont Boulevard, in Fremont, CA.  It's 2 miles from the Fremont BART 
 stop. \nWhen: Anytime that you can come from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM\n\nPLEASE 
 RSVP to shana@panna.org.  \n\nWhy: The International Campaign for Justice 
 in Bhopal (ICJB) is holding around 100 actions this week across the United 
 States, India, and the world to remember victims and honor survivors of the 
 Bhopal gas disaster, the devastating effects of which are still being felt 
 by over 100,000 Bhopal residents who live near to the Union Carbide factory 
 where the world’s worst industrial disaster occurred.\nSupporters in the 
 U.S. will gather from San Francisco to Boston to Austin, Texas, holding 
 candlelight vigils, circulating petitions among people pledging not work 
 for Dow Chemical Company, which now owns Union Carbide and all of its 
 liabilities in Bhopal, and raising awareness for the Bhopal 
 struggle.\n\nLet me know if you're interested in carpooling from San 
 Francisco, or if you can offer a ride to others interested in going from 
 your part of the Bay Area! \n
