DESCRIPTION:Though we live in a place with lots of Spanish speaking communities around 
 us, it is often difficult to bridge that lingual barrier and actually talk 
 to folks. This class aims to give participants the basics to communicate in 
 Spanish speaking contexts. The class will largely depend on the skill level 
 and the desires of the participants. I've never taught a spanish class 
 before so don't expect some sort of formula or model. I hope to focus on 
 basic grammar and vocabulary useful when talking about issues of 
 oppression, migration, gender, police harassment, politics, anarchism... I 
 will distro anarcho-punk and zapatista texts for reading.\n
