DESCRIPTION:I hope you have been doing well since the end of our intense and
exhilarating grassroots election campaign. Thank you so much for all your
support, work and positivity over the campaign! \n\nOver the past two
weeks, our campaign team has been closely monitoring the Department of
Election's slow counting of tens of thousands of remaining absentee and
provisional ballots. While the count is still not yet complete and the
election results won't be officially certified until early December, our
victory in the hard fought District 1 Board of Supervisors race is pretty
much assured.\n\nI am honored to have earned the first place vote of over
40% of District 1 voters, the highest of any non-incumbent Board of
Supervisors candidate in any district. This strong showing in first place
votes enabled me to maintain a lead and push me over 50% win threshold
after the Department of Elections applied its preliminary "ranked-choice
voting" run earlier this week.\n\nPersonally, I am still recovering from
and reflecting on the grueling campaign as I'm sure we all are. And what
better way to recover and reflect than celebrating with all of you? Please
read on and come out to celebrate with our sisters and brothers in
 labor!\n\nThanks and solidarity,\nEric Mar\n
